This seasonal park is open from March to October (subject to change), so go there while you can! With a combination of thrill rides, kids and family attractions, water games and kiddies rides, Adventureland caters to children of all ages—even to adults! But so much excitement is bound to make the young ones hungry. The park has snack stands, a restaurant and a food court to choose from.

Formula 1 fans will feel like they’ve died and gone to heaven after a day in RPM Raceway. This facility has go-kart tracks that will give you a taste of what real speed feels like. Children have to be at least 6 years old and over 4 feet tall. Younger children can hang out in the arcade or drive in a sophisticated simulator. RPM Raceway sells only snacks and drinks.

When you want a change from the ocean and water sports, it’s time to head to a water park. And Long Island just happens to have the perfect one. Located about a two-hour drive from The Allegria, Splish Splash is a seasonal water park with water rides, pools, high slides for the adventurous and mild but equally fun attractions for younger children. Family Meal passes are available.

Do your kids have energy to burn? Then, go to Boomers! Long Island, a family fun center that’s a mixture of an arcade, a sports center and an amusement park. Take the kids rock climbing or try your luck at the mini-golf. Go-karts, kiddie rides and bumper boats will offer hours of fun and laughter. And when it’s time to eat, treat your kids to some of Nathan’s Famous hot dogs.
