OUR COMMITMENT TO GUESTS

To Our Valued Guests,

 

At the Allegria Hotel, our priority is first and foremost the safety and well-being of our guests and team members.

 

We continue to closely follow the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, both domestically and abroad. We are in regular contact with local authorities. Our teams are monitoring the most up-to-the-minute information provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), the Governor's Office of New York, and the Mayor's Office of Long Beach.

 

We have developed our 11-point Program to ensure a new standard of hotel cleanliness and disinfection. We have developed this Program in careful consideration of major hotel brands standards, OHLA, Ecolab, CDC, and other best practices.


To ensure a clean and safe stay for guests, as well as a safe working environment for our associates, our 11-point Program enhances our already high standards.

  1. We have increased the focus on disinfecting in guest rooms, including all high touch areas.
  2. We have increased cleaning and disinfection frequency of public areas multiple times daily.
  3. Guest accessible sanitizer is now available at entrances and all high-traffic areas.
  4. We have enhanced cleaning in restaurants, bars, and meeting spaces.
  5. We have adjusted furniture placement in public areas, bars, and restaurants to accommodate social distancing guidelines.
  6. We offer several meeting space alternative setups to accommodate social distancing guidelines.
  7. We have reduced paper and other non-necessary amenities in guest rooms.
  8. We have enhanced team member safety and well-being with personal protective equipment as well as training standards for new protocols.
  9. We will evaluate new technologies, including electrostatic sprayers and UV light. 
  10. Masks are available upon request.
  11. The fitness center is currently closed due to NYS restrictions.

These are our base guidelines. Any more stringent local authority directions or mandates will be complied with and supersede our Program.

 

Protocols for COVID-19 - Phase Four

For safety protocols, Allegria Hotel follows the recommendations from the CDC and requirements from the state and local governments. Allegria Hotel has implemented the following practices:

  • All team members wear masks
  • Guests are asked to wear masks in public areas (lobby, elevator, when waiting to order grab-and-go items)
  • Increased frequency of cleaning in public areas with attention to high-touch areas including door handles, switches, buttons, counters
  • DINING: Menus items are available for grab-and-go purchase to take to the hotel room, picnic on the beach or enjoy on a boardwalk bench
  • DINING: Digital access to menu with QR code
  • DINING: Outdoor dining is open (seating is spaced six-feet apart) and guests order off-the menu
  • DINING: Indoor dining is open at reduced capacity per guidelines
  • ROOMS: Stayovers are automatically serviced every third day. Guest may requested service by calling the Front Desk.
  • ROOMS: Intense cleaning before and after guest arrival with enhanced techniques recommended by CDC
  • EVENTS: Groups of 50 (ie for a wedding) are allowed indoors in phase four
  • GYM: The gym is currently closed (July 2020)

 

ROOFTOP POOL

Rooftop Pool is open seasonally from Memorial Day to Columbus Day and hours are 8:00 AM – Sunset.
